Dear Claire, Sharee and the Gables ‘Team’,

We were so inspired by events on our wedding day on 9th November that we felt we must let you know how delighted we are.

From a catering perspective, I understand how difficult it is to please everybody, especially when catering for those with special dietary needs. I thought you’d be pleased to know that not only did the two individuals who needed special treatment thoroughly enjoy their meal, ALL of our guests made it a special point to tell us how delighted they were both with the quality of the food and the level of service your staff offered. Considering the age ranges of our guests spanned from 3 to 85, this must have been no mean feat!

We received so many positive comments about the venue, the gardens, and atmosphere. Your grace in dealing with the unexpected problems only added to our enjoyment of the day.

For my new wife and I the day went very well; in fact it surpassed our expectations. Sunday 9th at The Gables proved to be one of the most exceptional days in our lives; helped by the smooth running of the service you and your staff offered. All your staff were all pleasant and polite, all eager to offer as much help as possible.

One of our guests is a restaurateur, who a week after the event is still paying high complements about the day to his friends/associates. We would be happy to recommend The Gables to anyone. Once again, thank you
